- The fishing license is personal and allows fishing with one rod in hand; reel, spin, fly, rod or ice rod. Three rods are allowed when boat fishing in Horten.
- In Stortjärnen there is a maximum of 3 fish per card.
- Fishing ban in Stortjärnen every year from the first Monday in October each year until the Fishing Premiere (which is usually Saturday the week before Christmas).
- In Horten it is prohibited to fish from your own boat.
- Pike fishing is not allowed in our waters.
