Our Fishing Licenses for our Family Lakes and Rules

• Day pass: Valid for fishing from 00:00-23:59. Maximum one fish per pass may be caught. Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit. (on their quota)
• Weekend card : The weekend card is valid during the weekend, fishing can begin at: 4:00 PM on Friday and is valid all Saturday and Sunday until 11:59 PM. A total of 2 fish during the weekend. Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license. (on their quota)

NOTE! Fishing licenses purchased for fishing in Sveaskog's Family Lakes are NOT valid in Sveaskog's fine-fishing waters in Malingsbo - Kloten and Krampensjöarna.

To think about

Before you set out on your fishing trip, please note the following terms and conditions:

• The fishing license is personal and must bear your name and expiration date. Upon request, you must be able to show your fishing license and also be able to provide identification.
• The fishing license must always be carried when fishing.
• You are responsible for checking what applies before you start fishing. The County Administrative Board can provide more information ( www.lst.se ).
• Changes or additions to rules and instructions may be made during the current season.
• Other fishing legislation applies in addition to these rules.
• If you violate the rules, your fishing rights will cease immediately.
• In the event of suspected poaching, please contact Sveaskog's customer center on tel. 0771-787 100.

ORANGEA WATER – Put & take - Ljustjärn & Långtjärnarna (Lower and Middle Långtjärn)

• In addition to pike and perch that occur naturally in our Family Lakes, the lakes' stocks are strengthened by stocking salmonid fish up to four times per year.
• Spinning, angling and fly fishing (Angling with traditional silicone or PVC-based PowerBait, such as pellets, tails, balls or larvae, is strictly prohibited in our waters.)
• Max 1 salmonid fish per card/day.

Other rules for fishing

• Fishing may be done with ONE rod, (one card = one fishing rod).
• Only one rod per valid fishing license may be brought to the lake , this also applies to fly fishing rods.
• A fly, a lure or a hook with bait, not live fish, may be attached to a rod in our game fishing waters. The rod used must be carried by hand or be immediately accessible to the angler at all times.
• Jerk fishing is prohibited, but it is permitted to use a hook to retrieve caught fish.
• Mashing not allowed.
• When fishing, the rod must not be left unattended.
• Fishing with otters or nets is prohibited.
• When fishing with float rings in Ljustjärn, it is only permitted to practice traditional fly fishing from a float ring. Traditional fly fishing means. (Fly rod, fly line and down-covered hook). Our definition of a float ring is that it should be designed as a "traditional" float ring and be moved by paddling with your feet. If the float ring is moved with oars, it is considered a boat and is not permitted. Own boats, canoes or. SUP boards are not allowed in our game fishing lakes.
• Fishing ban at the beach in Ljustjärn.

General terms and conditions  

• Crayfish are not allowed to be caught.
• Fires may only be lit in designated areas.
• Do not litter, take your trash home with you or use the trash cans located adjacent to the parking lots.
• Camping with a camper/caravan is only allowed for those who have purchased a fishing license.
