Tärendö SAMFF

In the waters, general fishing rules apply, Fishing Act SFS 1993:787, the association has no own rules for fishing.
The Norrbotten County Administrative Board's decision on fishing in the county's seas and rivers applies to 2025 in Tärendö village waters.

Summary:
Fishing for salmon and trout is permitted from 1/1 to 31/8, with hand gear. Max 1 salmon or trout / person / day.
For salmon, the minimum size is 50 cm and for trout, the size is 30-45 cm, which may be retained.

Grayling is protected during the spawning season from April 15 to May 31. Only grayling over a minimum size of 35 cm may be kept.

Other:
Jerk fishing is prohibited.
Fishing with otters or equivalent gear is prohibited.
The drag line must not have more than 3 hooks (flies).
