Youth card
• Free for young people up to 14 years of age (personal card required).
• The youth license is subject to the same rules as regular fishing licenses.
• The card must be redeemed before fishing begins.

Allowed fishing methods
•Maximum 1 handheld gear per angler. Angling, spinning, vertical fishing and trolling are permitted.
• Ice fishing is permitted.
• Angel don/ice mete: max 10 don per person, labeling with name and telephone number required.

Rod rules when trolling regardless of the number of cards
• Regular fishing license: max 2 rods/boat. No paravanes are allowed.
• Premium card: max 4 rods/boat, 4 paravanes (max 12 meters of discharge per side).

Regular card

Total catch per day/fishing license: 3 fish
Allowed dimensions: 40–70 cm
Maximum number within 55–70 cm: 1 fish

Examples of allowed combinations:

• 3 pieces between 40–55 cm
• 2 pieces between 40–55 cm + 1 piece between 55–70 cm

Premium card

Total catch per day/fishing license: 6 fish
Allowed dimensions: 40–70 cm
Maximum number within 55–70 cm: 2 fish

Examples of allowed combinations:

• 6 pieces between 40–55 cm
• 5 pieces between 40–55 cm + 1 piece between 55–70 cm
• 4 pieces between 40–55 cm + 2 pieces between 55–70 cm

All pike-perch under 40 cm and over 70 cm must be immediately released.

• Pike: Max 2/day/fishing license, over 65 cm will be released.
• Perch: Max 5 kg/day/fishing license, over 37 cm will be released.

Conservation zones and times
• During the period April 15 – June 15, all fishing is prohibited within marked conservation zones. See map GPS coordinates for conservation areas are only visible on the website, not in the app.
• Land fishing ban in Teen from Stavån to Almby, see red marked section on the map.

• Note the fishing ban in Lake Teen, this is a private fishing zone.

Crayfishing
• Crayfish fishing is prohibited for the public.
• Crayfish fishing may only take place at special events arranged for members of Hasselfors Village Association.

Membership in Hasselfors village association

Individual membership
• Valid for one (1) person.
• Free ramp fee.
• The right to participate in the village association's events.
• Does not convert annual passes to family passes.

Family membership
• Applies to all persons registered in the same household/address.
• Free ramp fee for the entire household.
• Right to participate in events as a family.
• Annual passes (regular or premium) are automatically converted into family fishing passes.

• The card is personal.

Checking fishing licenses and memberships

• Show your fishing license.
• Show proof of membership or provide name and address so that the inspector can verify membership.
• Identification may be requested if necessary.

Other rules

• Fishing licenses must be purchased at least 30 minutes before fishing begins.
• Rule of thumb: stay at least 50 m from private piers and swimming areas.
• Life jackets are recommended when fishing from a boat.
• Inspection fee for violation of rules: 2,000 SEK/ and forfeited fishing license

Sustainable fishing – our recommendations

• Limit the use of real-time sonar and other advanced technology to avoid targeted fishing of the largest individuals in the stock.
• When catching & releasing: use barbless hooks, minimize air contact and keep the fish in the water, avoid releasing in extreme cold or heat.
• Use lead-free sinkers and environmentally friendly materials.
• Report catches via iFiske to contribute to sustainable management.
