The lakes Tansen, Grycken, Varpan and Tisken are included in Varpan's fishing area. So are Faluån and Rogsån and a number of smaller watercourses.

Varpan's FVOF has two initiatives in 2026 to promote fishing in our waters. Rent a rowing boat in Varpan 2026 and Start fishing packages for young people, we will hand out 30 packages in 2026. More information about them can be found under the tab Fishing card / Show Rules
