Due to heavy truck traffic with timber from the area at Ö. Stocktjärnet and south past the cottage village and out at the shooting range, it may be better to take the northern route via Klockargården, Rolamp and down to Ö. Stocktjärnet.

Welcome to fish in our beautiful waters in the northern part of Arvika Municipality, Bogen. With its beautiful nature, the fine views create fantastic fishing. Every year a lot of fish is caught here and Östra Stocktjärnet is known for its fine fishing for rainbow trout. Östra Stocktjärnet is also partially handicap-accessible so that fishing is accessible to everyone. Our area extends from the Norwegian border in the west to Simonstorp in the east. The lakes Lomsen in the north and Stråtjärnet in the south are also part of the area, where there are plenty of pike and perch. The association has created great opportunities to put in a boat in connection with lakes such as Lilleken, Varaldsjön, Skålsjön, Bogsälven, Kivilamp and Kroksjön. At Östra Stocktjärnet, rainbow salmon are regularly released during the summer months. Stocktjärnet offers relaxing fishing and outdoor activities. There are great opportunities for grilling in connection with the lake. In addition, the pond is equipped with gangways and piers, which also allows for fly fishing. In recent years, the association has invested a lot of time and resources in restoring the Rolampsälven and Lilleksälven rivers to preserve the old brook trout population. This has been done in collaboration with the Värmland County Administrative Board. As a result, these two rivers are protected from fishing for the next few years.
