Generally
A valid fishing license is required for everyone over the age of 12 to fish within the fishery conservation area.
For youth under 16 years of age, the red annual card is valid. This card is free and can be scanned at IFiske and at some places along the river.
The fishing license is personal and cannot be transferred.
The fishing license must be worn visibly and shown upon request by supervisors.
Lost fishing licenses will not be replaced.
Total fishing ban in Källbyverket's purification ponds.
Fishing is prohibited in Önnerupsbäcken, the watercourse by the golf course, and at Lomma Church.

Salmon and/or trout:
Prohibited between 1/10 - 31/12.
Except for the conservation area at the mouth (15/9 - 30/4).
The Lunda route:
Fishing ban during the period 1/10 - 31/12 between the bridge at road 108 and the Värpinge bridge Lommavägen.
On the south side of the river, from the railway bridge to Lommavägen in Värpinge, all year round.
The Loma stretch:
Fishing is prohibited in Önnerupsbäcken, the watercourse by the golf course, and by the church .

Outside the river mouth:
Fishing ban 15/9 - 30/4
Methods
The fishing license entitles you to fish with two hand tools. Catch restrictions
A maximum of 2 salmonid fish/day may be caught.
The minimum size for trout is 50 cm and for salmon 60 cm.
Spawned trout or salmon must be released in such a way that the fish survives. Colored spawning fish and incorrectly hooked salmonid fish must also be released.
Pike: Max 2 caught and taken home fish / card and day. Longer than 100 cm will be released!
Perch: Max 3 caught and taken home fish / card and day.
Carp should be released.
In total, each fisherman is allowed to take home a maximum of 5 fish/day.
Eel fishing ban: As of May 1, 2007, all eel fishing is prohibited.

Other rules
Forfeiture of fishing rights
Fishing licenses may be denied or confiscated by the association/supervisors.
Supervisors also have the right to reject anyone who does not follow the rules and/or behaves disruptively to the surroundings and/or the environment.
If you show consideration, your fishing in Höje å will develop and you can feel welcome again.
