The Lagaleden trail stretches 150 km from Lake Bolmen in Småland out to the sea in Laholm Bay. You choose how long you want to paddle. If you don't have your own canoe, there are canoe rentals along the trail. The canoe rental companies offer canoe transport to/from the start or finish. The season runs from 1 May to 30 September.
Regardless of which route you choose, a fantastic nature experience awaits you. As you glide along Lagan quietly and quietly, a varied nature awaits you and the opportunity to see many wild animals and a rich birdlife.
There are around 30 campsites along the Lagaleden trail. They are marked with signs depicting a canoe and a tent. These have garbage racks, toilets, firewood and many have overnight shelters. If you are going to spend the night at the campsite, you pay a fee online via iFiske or canoe check. The price for an overnight stay is 50:-/person in the canoe. Youth under 14 years old no fee.
Hjörneredssjöarna
A popular area to paddle in is Hjörneredssjöarna. It is a calm water and there are lots of islands to do shore excursions on. Canoes are also available for rent directly at Hjörneredssjöarna.
