- Everyone in the area who is permanently resident (registered) and who owns fishing rights has the right to obtain a fishing license (membership card).
- Only fishing right holders have voting rights.
- Co-owners of the deceased estate only own one fishing right together unless there are multiple title deeds.
- Rod fishing is permitted for everyone within the entire area. Net fishing is only permitted for permanent residents or fishing license holders.
- Fishing with a rod may only be done by hand (bottom angling not permitted). Angel rods and stand hooks are only permitted in lakes and calm parts of Ljusnan.
- Max 1 rod per fisherman.
- Fishing is allowed in Övre- and Nedre Ransjön as well as in Orten for fishing rights holders and permanent residents.
- Netting ban in all ponds.
- Boats and floats prohibited in all ponds.
- There is a fishing ban in our fishing waters, with the exception of Lake Linsellsjön.
- Worms and sprags are prohibited in flowing waters in Ljusnan, with the exception of lakes and seals.
- There is a ban on fishing and fishing gear in Råndan.
- Fishing ban on grayling (see addition below).
- Trout fishing prohibited during this time (see addition below).
- Fishing ban in planted ponds from the time they become ice-free until (see addition below).
- Fishing in ponds where planting has taken place during the year may only be done against payment of a day pass. Max. 3 fish/angler per day. For current ponds, please refer to the notice board at Linsells Livs, Linsell's website www.linsell-ransjo.se, Ifiske and fishing pass sellers. The same number of fish also applies to non-newly planted ponds.
- Within our area of Ljusnan, a maximum of 3 fish/angler per day can be caught (applies to trout and grayling). Minimum size: 35 cm and maximum size: 45 cm.
- Pike over 70 cm must be released.
- For Råndan the following applies: Within FVO, fly fishing and fishing with a casting rod (spinner, etc.) is permitted: Max. 3 fish/fisherman per day with minimum size: 35cm and maximum size: 45 cm. NOTE! See the fly fishing route on the map. Catch and release applies on that route.
- Free fishing for everyone under 15 years of age. NOTE: Free fishing for those under 15 years of age in planted ponds only applies when accompanied by a guardian with a fishing license.
- Fishing ban on grayling 1/4 - 31/5 - 2026. Fishing ban on trout during the period 1/9 - 31/10 - 2026. Fishing ban in planted ponds from the time they become ice-free until they open on Saturday 6/6-2026 and from 1/9 until they open on Saturday 19/12-2026.
