We have decided not to sell fishing licenses. On July 21, 2025, the decision is valid until further notice.

• Fishing permits only apply to Miekojärvi parcels and Sveaskogs water, which are leased. SEE MAP Please note that water areas within Övertorneå municipality are not included (2 different parcels Pasaninen and Tierininiemi), see red marked on the map.
• The day pass is valid per calendar day, i.e. 00:00 to 24:00.
• The annual pass is valid per calendar day, thus until the end of the year, December 31.
• The fishing license is valid for sport fishing, with hand gear, carried by hand.
• Thus, the fishing license does not apply to: nets, longlines, scissor fishing, traps, gillnets or other fixed gear.
• We strongly recommend a so-called window extraction of 40 to 60 cm on the maximum 3 pike perch, larger fish than 60 cm are gently released.
• We apply a minimum size of 40 cm for pike-perch, and each fisherman is allowed to catch a maximum of 3 pike-perch per person per fishing day.
• Violations of the Fishing Act (1993:787) are reported to the police.
• Children up to and including 16 years of age may fish for free when accompanied by a guardian or another adult with a valid fishing license. However, the fishing quota of 3 pike-perch is shared with the adult with a valid fishing license.
• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
• Identification must be brought.
• We recommend that larger Pike 80 cm and Pike perch over 60 cm are gently released.
• At water temperatures higher than 19 C and depths greater than 8 m, we do not recommend cath and realese, i.e. re-release.
• We ask you not to camp near the end of the road and the boat launch, due to the small distance to residential and holiday homes. The right of public access to camp/park with a camper van or caravan does not apply.
• Be very careful when lighting a fire. We recommend the prepared fire pit at the far end of the cape, outside the boat launch.
• When cleaning, we ask that the cleaning be taken home or taken out of the stand a little way to be thrown into the water,
