- The fishing license is valid for hook fishing with a rod from hand or fishing with a drag from a boat.
- The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
- The fishing license must be carried when fishing and presented for inspection upon request.
- In the lakes where boat fishing is allowed, you are allowed to troll or tow a longline with one rod per fisherman.
- Fishing with otter boards, long lines and pole hooks is not permitted.
- Fishing permits for family members, which are linked to regular annual permits, must contain the name of the family member living at the same address as the holder of the regular annual permit.
When fishing with incorrect, too many or prohibited gear, a control fee of SEK 2,000 will be charged, as decided by the Annual General Meeting on March 8, 2020. The Act (1981:533) on fisheries conservation areas, (SFS 2010:1874).
