Fishing on Sävedalsvattnet takes place between 1 April and 30 September for salmon and trout. From Ugglumsbron to Gamlestansbron it is permitted to fish between 1 October and 31 March for other species. Salmon and trout are protected during the period and must be released. The most famous fishing spots are Kyrkströmmen in Partille and Ugglumsströmmen in Sävedalen, but salmon also usually stay in the deep holes downstream of Brodalsbäcken during the summer.
