Rules for Siljan's Southern Fishing Conservation Area

A hand tool from boat or land.

Trolling/Uttering: max 10 rods/lures per boat. When trolling and ottering, the boat must be moving.

Max 10 fishing rods/ice rods from ice.

Wild trout are protected (trout with the adipose fin still attached are protected).

Max 2 finned trout, minimum size 55 cm/day and fishing license.

Pike over 100 cm must be released.

Perch over 40 cm must be released

Fishing for sale is prohibited.

1/9-31/12 all fishing in the Limån outlet is prohibited

Children under 16 fish for free

Fishing licenses and identification must be carried while fishing and must be presented to supervisory personnel upon request.

Where fishing takes place that deviates from the above-mentioned regulations, the FVO or its representative has the right to charge an inspection fee of SEK 2,000.

Every fisherman has an obligation to find out what rules apply within Siljans Södra FVO.

A permit is required to arrange fishing competitions in our waters. In the event of a competition, the board must be contacted at least two weeks in advance for approval.

Competitors have personal fishing licenses

This card is not valid for crayfish fishing.
