Storsjöns FVOF Sandviken

• Fishing licenses are personal (except guest licenses). Only one card per person and fishing occasion is valid. When inspected, fishermen are required to show identification. Fishing licenses can be revoked in the event of an offense. A fisherman who violates the rules can be fined with a control fee of 2000 SEK.
• Protected zones: To protect the pike-perch there are protected zones, see map ! Storgrundet on Västerfjärden and the area north of Gösholmen on Körnikan are completely protected for fishing all year round and marked with 4 yellow cross-post buoys in the outer corners. Complementary red buoys are also located between the yellow cross-post buoys. Västergrundet and Skravelharen-Flygargrundet on Västerfjärden are protected from ice breaking - June 30. From July 1, the red buoys from these areas will be removed to clarify that fishing is now allowed there. These red buoys will then be moved to the Storgrundet protection area to clarify that this area is completely protected all year round. Please note that the map function shows where you are and where protected areas are located. In summer, the areas are marked with buoys.
• Fishing from a boat is not permitted within the net ban zone in Gavelhytteviken from ice breaking up until June 30. At the Sandviken Sailing Association port area at Bångs there is a fishing ban, as well as a fishing ban in the fairway at Bångs sluice bridge. At the Sailing Association ports at Stenbryggan and Trebo there is a total fishing ban in the entire port area.
• Catch limit 2 zander per day and person. 2 pikes per day and person.
• Minimum size: Pike perch 45 cm.
• Maximum size: Zander 65 cm, Pike 75 cm, Perch 40 cm. Handle and release the fish carefully!
• Side screens are not allowed.
• Crayfish fishing is prohibited all year round.
• Prohibition on selling catch.
• Separate rules apply to fishing rights holders.
• Youth up to 16 years of age fish for free with hand gear/trolling 1 rod.
• Hand gear/trolling max 2 rods, angling/ice fishing max 6 rods, hand gear from land 2 rods, 1 pole, 1 bait net max 10m long max 12mm mesh max 1m deep (bait nets must always be supervised)
• All gear must be marked with a clearly visible orange fishing ball (or equivalent) with a diameter of at least 23 cm. Gear must be marked with the valid fishing license number/fishing card number, name & telephone number.
• Hand gear from land is 1 rod and ice fishing is 1 rod.
• For annual passes with a guest pass, a guest may fish (at the same time and together with the annual pass holder) with 1 rod, hand gear/trolling/icefish. The guest may catch the same amount as the annual pass holder. (see catch limit)
• Fishing competitions must be reported in good time and approved before they are carried out.
