Järna FVOF

In all waters the following applies:

• All fishing in all waters requires valid fishing licenses.
• Angler fishing: 12 tackle or rods per card and person.
• Recommends that pikes over 100cm be released.
• Recommends that perch over 40cm be released.
• On the tourist fishing permit, all fishing with fixed gear is prohibited.
• On the local map, 100 meters of nets are allowed and these must be marked with names and telephone numbers.
• Children up to 18 years of age fish for free.

Crayfish fishing:

Dates for 2026 crayfish fishing. 14 Aug. at 5:00 PM - 16 Aug. at 12:00 PM.

10 cages per person/fishing license, Note: Both an annual license and a crayfish fishing license are required. Minimum size 10 cm.

The equipment must be labeled with your name and telephone number.

Closed hours:

• Fishing for all salmonids is prohibited during spawning periods.
• For trout and char, the ban applies from October 1st to November 30th.
• For grayling, the ban period is March 15 to May 15.
• During these times, fishing with nets is also prohibited for everyone within a radius of 300 meters from a stream or river mouth.

Minimum size and catch limit:

• All salmonids have a minimum size of 30cm. For trout, char and grayling there is a catch limit of 3 fish per day.

SPECIAL RULES APPLY IN THESE WATERS:

• Gräsbackstjärn, Fisklösen, Perborrtjärn, Galtjärn, Blanktjärn, Snårbergsgötjärn, Öratjärn, Björntjärn and Uttertjärn.
• One rod per card in these waters.
• Boat/floating aids prohibited.
• A total ban on phishing applies in Gensen.
