Fishing rules for Vindommen

Please note the change in rules from 2025.

Introduction of 5 prohibition zones. A total fishing ban applies here from January 1 to June 30.

The zones are marked with buoys, a yellow and a red buoy together and marked with VFVO.

Fishing within these zones is strictly prohibited.

For trolling (with motor) and drag rowing, you must purchase a trolling card.

(Note, when purchasing the trolling license, a regular fishing license is not required)

The following applies to all fishing licenses:

2 fishing rods per card

Catch limits and minimum/maximum sizes

Pike: mini 50 cm , maxi 80 cm, max 3 fish per fishing license/day

Pike perch: mini 45 cm , maxi 70 cm, max 1 fish per fishing license/day

Perch: max 35 cm, max 4 fish per fishing license/day

The fishing license must always be carried. Representatives of the fisheries management area have the right to check that a valid fishing license is available and that the rules are being followed.

In case of violation of the rules, an inspection fee will be charged according to the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act (1981:533).

Fishing without a valid fishing license is illegal and a violation of the Fisheries Act (1993:787), and will result in a police report .
