Not far from Mölndal's city center, yet secluded from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, lies Södra Långevattnet, a clear-water lake surrounded by mountains and forested ridges. With its eleven hectares, it is one of the smaller lakes and therefore also the most pleasant.

If you fish with a rod and line, you will find it just the right size for your needs. You can quickly get to the water by car, but it is also convenient to take the bus from Broplatsen, which has a stop just a few minutes' walk from the lake.
Once up there, you have a varied round ahead of you with steep cliffs with rapid depths as well as small, leafy coves.

It is excellent to fish from shore with a fly or light reel.

You can get by with rubber boots on your feet.

If you are careful, the fish will stay very close to shore.

The supply of fish is good, and they are not small fish.
