About the Gothenburg Blue Card

Just 5 km from the center of Gothenburg lies Norra Långevattnet – an elongated lake with a large variation in depth, barely a kilometer in length and at its deepest 6.5 metres. It is well suited for both fly and spin fishing, here there are good chances for rainbow trout which are released continuously, but the lake also houses pike, perch, roach and bream. Norra Långevattnet is surrounded by forest and cliffs and on the east side the Bohusleden passes on its way south.

You can park in the shuttle parking at the soccer fields northwest of the lake. Note that the barrier on the road towards the Mölndald waterworks closes without prior warning, so do not drive there.
