Södra Sämsjöns FVOF

Södra Sämsjön is a long and beautiful lake. It stretches between Månstad in the south and Vegby in the north. The lake bottom varies from shallow overgrown bottoms to deep parts where 28 meters is the deepest. One of the deepest lakes in the Sjuhäradsbygden.

The lake offers varied and exciting fishing. The lake is known for its well-grown pikes and large perch. Pike fishing has recently become a tourist attraction. The opportunity to fish from land is good and if you fish from a boat you have a lot to explore as there is a great variation in depth and bottom type.

There are printed updated depth maps available. It is made with modern technology and very detailed. The map is sold in local sport fishing shops, in bookstores, at Ulricehamn tourist office and at Cafè Sjöparken in a plastic-wrapped version for best handling on land, in a boat or on the ice.
