Our lakes are rich in pike, perch, roach, zander, rudd, sablefish and roach. We have in a few rounds stocked larger trout in the lakes, which are difficult to catch with rod fishing due to the good food supply through the zander. Our competition Gäddligan continues annually with prizes for the four largest pike caught in the area.

We have three ponds with only trout, stocking is done regularly, the trout lake Västansjö is close to the road and is accessible, in recent years we have also stocked larger char here, there are two piers, one of which is handicap accessible, a windbreak, an outdoor toilet, and 5 boats for rent. We release yearling trout into the streams.

Our fishery conservation area was formed in 1988 through the merger of Storarmsjö and Lillarmsjö, which includes Gåsvattnet and Pålvattnet as well as Västansjö with only trout and the ponds Ritjärn and Lilltjärn with planted trout and Mellansjöbäcken and Armsjöbäcken.
