Welcome to Björkvattnet - with some of the mountain world's most pristine fishing waters. The birch water is right next to the Norwegian border and so separated that the village has even had its own traffic rules.
The lake Björkvattnet has a rich stock of trout and mountain trout of good size and a summer and winter fishing of very high quality.
The eight ponds are located in widely differing environments, where some lie up on the mountain just below the tree line, while others are surrounded by forests. Leads are to all ponds, some are 4-5 km from the nearest road, which in practice means a total privacy for those who want to fish in pristine waters.
Two tarns and the lake Björkvattnet are located in close or direct connection to the car road, which means that they are very suitable for people with disabilities. Björkvattnet and its fishing waters are also in one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich areas in the mountains and fantastic nature experiences in addition to the fishing itself.
