Jormvattnets FVO has a famous char and trout fishing, summer and winter.
The following waters are available within the fishery management area: Jormsjön, Myrskalstjärn, Holmtjärn, Långplutten, Hästskotjärn, Hästplutten, Kvarntjärn, Långtjärn, Södra Partjärn, Mörttjärn, Raudek and Silesjaure. Lill Väktarn is also included, and fishing from a boat is allowed there
New for this year fishing is allowed from the lower part of the Blåsjö River from ErikOlof flyn to Lilla Blåsjön1: 8 border with Lillväktaren. Only fly fishing with a fly rod is allowed in this area.

Jormvattnet is located next to Vildmarksvägen in Frostviken in northern Jämtland. The area is reached via road 45 Östersund-Strömsund then "Vildmarksvägen" (340) to Jorm via Gäddede.
Boats and motors can be rented at the fishing camp at Jormsjön. The area is well signposted and with clear trails. Some ponds are easily accessible for families. There are several shelters and a few rest huts. New windbreak in progress at the Jormlin - Jormön strait and the southwestern end of Kvarntjärna and Långplutten
A barbecue hut is available for those who have a fishing license within Jormvattnet's FVOV. It is nicely located on the pier at the mouth of Blåsjölven. Fire wisely and clean up after yourself.
