In Ale there is every opportunity for a rich outdoor life. In from Lake Surtes you reach a continuous lake system to paddle in, with Gäddevattnet, Stentjärn, Skyrsjön and Kroksjön. Ale has 180 lakes larger than one hectare. Ale is also a paradise for anglers. Stora Kroksjön, Lake Perch, are a few examples.
