It is our hope that you will have a summer with great nature experiences and good fishing luck.
The board
Perch Lake:
-----------------------
Permitted fishing methods: spin fishing (not bombarda), fly fishing.
These fishing methods are also allowed from floating with fins (not oars!). Fishing from floating is only allowed in Perch Lake!
In addition to the rainbow, there is also a small stock of stationary trout.
All trout in Abboresjön are therefore protected and must be returned. The surroundings consist of coniferous forest and areas of swampland, while the beaches mainly consist of mountains and rocks. There are several fly fishing friendly places.
Stora Kroksjön:
-----------------------
Permitted fishing methods: spin fishing (not bombarda), fly fishing.
In addition to the rainbow, the lake has a small fine stock of mountain trout and a small stock of stationary wild trout. We are now trying to build this small trout stock through active fisheries management into a fishable stock for our guests in a few years. All trout in Stora Kroksjön are therefore protected and must be put back.
The lake is located within a nature reserve, so it is the rules of the nature reserve that apply and not the right of public access.
There is an information board at the lake's outlet that describes what applies to rules and what is interesting in the area. Around St. Kroksjön there are four windbreaks with a fireplace for overnight stays, a couple of coffee tables to rest and enjoy the view. To the west of the dam there is a toilet, see signage.
The surroundings consist of forest land of a primeval forest character. The beaches vary between mountains and moraine land.
In the south there is a lot of marshland, in the north the mountains are steep and plunge straight into the lake. From the top of these you have a very beautiful view of the whole lake. Apart from the steep mountains, you can fish around the entire lake. The beaches are clean with long flat rocks and lightly padded bottom. The lake is therefore very fly fishing friendly and due to its size you can easily find your own little special place. Since 1987, they have invested in quality fishing in this lake.
Lake Ottersjön:
-----------------------
Permitted fishing methods: angling, spin fishing, fly fishing
Our family lake there is also there is a handicap bridge and toilet adjacent to the road, most floating bridges and a windbreak.
The surroundings consist mostly of coniferous forest and it is fine to fish around the whole lake and there are several nice places that are suitable for fly fishing, although spin fishing is the most dominant here.
Böljesjön:
-----------------------
Permitted fishing methods: fly fishing
Is a nice little lake where only fly fishing is allowed.
At Böljesjön there is a windbreak for overnight stays and a toilet by the car park.
There are five jetties, coffee tables and some nice wading spots. The surroundings consist of coniferous mixed forest and felling, it is partly wadeable but there are several floating jetties to facilitate fly fishing.

The club was founded on September 5, 1967 by Nils and Leif Danielson together with Björn Löfgren in Alafors Abborresjön's fisheries conservation association. Today we are a fisheries conservation club with about 50 members who actively fish and run an environmentally friendly fisheries management in our lakes: Stora Kroksjön, Abborresjön, Ottersjön and Böljesjön.
In Stora Kroksjön there are e.g. a. self-reproducing stocks of char, trout and elritsa which we try to protect.
Through active fisheries management, we are now trying to build up a strong, for our guests, fishable strain in a few years. Right now, all trout are protected and will be released. We release fish of very high quality throughout the season and also some larger rainbows to give your fishermen a greater opportunity to get a real swimmer on the hook.
For us, it is important that you get a nature experience by the lake as well as high quality fish that gives a fun fight and a lot of vigilance in the lakes.
The club's goal is for you to have a nice fishing day with high quality fish and a wonderful nature experience at one of our wonderful lakes.
