May 1st at 8:00 we open the lakes for fishing

It is our hope that you will have a summer with wonderful nature experiences and good fishing luck.

Board of Directors

Perch Lake:
Allowed fishing methods: spinning (not bombarding), fly fishing.

These fishing methods are also permitted from float rings carried out with fins (not oars!). Fishing from float rings is only permitted in Lake Abborresjön and with an additional float ring permit.

In addition to rainbow trout, there is also a small stock of stationary trout.
All trout in Lake Abboresjön are therefore protected and must be released back. The surroundings consist of coniferous forest and parts of marshland while the shores are mainly made up of rocks and stones. There are several fly fishing-friendly spots.

Big Kroksjön:
Allowed fishing methods: spinning (not bombarding), fly fishing.

In addition to rainbow trout, the lake contains a small, fine population of Arctic char and a small population of stationary wild trout. We are now trying to build this small trout population up to a fishable population for our guests in a few years through active fisheries management. All trout in Stora Kroksjön are therefore protected and must be released back.

The lake is located within a nature reserve, so the rules of the nature reserve apply and not the right of public access.
There is an information board at the lake's outlet that describes the rules and what is interesting in the area. Around St. Kroksjön there are four wind shelters with fireplaces for overnight stays, a couple of coffee tables to rest and enjoy the view. West of the dam there is a toilet, see signage.

The surrounding area consists of primeval forest. The beaches vary between mountains and moraine.
In the south there is a section of marshland, in the north the mountains are steep and drop straight down into the lake. From the top of these you have a very beautiful view of the entire lake. Apart from the steep mountains you can fish all around the lake. The beaches are clean with long flat rock outcrops and an easily waded bottom. The lake is therefore very fly fishing friendly and due to its size you can easily find your own little special spot. Since 1987 they have invested in quality fishing in this lake.

Otter Lake:
Allowed fishing methods: angling, spinning, fly fishing

Our family lake is there, there is also a disabled dock and toilet next to the road, several floating docks and a wind shelter.

The surroundings consist mostly of mixed coniferous forest and it is possible to fish well around the entire lake and there are several nice places suitable for fly fishing, although spin fishing is the most dominant here.

Böljesjön:
Allowed fishing methods: fly fishing

Is a nice little lake where only fly fishing is allowed.
At Böljesjön there is a shelter for overnight stays and a toilet at the parking lot.
There are five jetties, coffee tables and some nice wading spots. The surroundings consist of mixed coniferous forest and clearings, it is wadable in parts but there are several floating jetties to facilitate fly fishing.

The club was formed on September 5, 1967 by Nils and Leif Danielson together with Björn Löfgren in Alafors Abborre Lake Fisheries Association. Today we are a fishing-care club with about 50 members who actively fish and operate environmentally friendly fishing in our lakes: Stora Kroksjön, Abborresjön, Ottersjön and Böljesjön.

In Stora Kroksjön you can find p. a. self-reproducing stocks of char, trout and elritsa which we try to protect
This small tribe is now trying to build a powerful, for our guests, fishable strain in a few years through active fishing. Right now, all trout is protected and is to be reissued. We put out very high quality fish throughout the season and even a lot of larger rainbows to give your fisherman a greater opportunity to get a real swimmer on the hook.

For us it is important that you get a nature experience at the lake as well as high quality fish that provide a fun fight and a lot of vigil in the lakes.

The club's goal is to have a nice fishing day with high quality fish and a wonderful nature experience at one of our wonderful lakes.
