Ralången is a lake that has become known for its population of really big zander. There are also plenty of pike and perch in the lake. In addition, the lake holds abundant populations of bream and roach for anglers.
If you want to target pike or perch, try Noen! There are large specimens of both species there! Other lakes worth trying your luck at fishing in are, for example, Anebysjön or Söljen, which also have good stocks of fine zander, pike and perch. Try trolling for zander on a nice summer evening on one of our lakes, a fantastic experience!
Would you like to rent a boat for your fishing trip? Then contact Aneby Sportfiskeklubb, which has boats for rent in several of the municipality's lakes. They also have canoes and kayaks if you prefer to paddle through the beautiful nature.
When fishing and staying in nature, the Right of Public Access applies, which means freedom but also consideration and responsibility. Eels are found in some of the municipality's lakes. Eel fishing is permitted more than three definitive migration barriers from the sea, but the minimum size is 70 centimeters in all waters.
