Storsandsjöns FVO is a fishing area consisting of four lakes; Kamsjöbäcken, Mjösjön, Ristjärnen and Storsandsjön .
Fish stocks consist mostly of perch, pike and roe.
Here the fish stock is dominated by perch, pike, roach and lake. Sack and trout are in single copies.
Put and take. Fishing for rainbow and charcoal. In addition to these species there are perch. There is a place to set up caravans at the harbors. Wind shelters, barbecue areas and handicapped docks are located at the inns. The fishing premiere in the winter is usually held last weekend in February and the summer premiere in mid-June.
The dominant species of fish are perch, pike, whitefish, roach and lake. Breeding has been put in several rounds and several of more than 5 kg are caught from the lake. The sick is fine and rough perch on over the kilo is not uncommon. Because the lake is so big, it is necessary to have a boat when fishing. Such are available for rent or borrow in the village of Storsandsjön.
Storsandsjöns fishing area is centrally located in the municipality about 15 km north of Vindelns urban area.
Storsandsjön is best known for its fine trout where trolling after these gave catches of more than 6 kg. In addition to Storsandsjön and Mjösjön, which dominates the area, there are a number of parsons of which Ristjärn with "put and take" fishing of rainbows and redings is the most important.
