Welcome to Stensele Fvo. The Stensele fisheries management association is now taking new steps to increase the availability of, among other things, fishing license. Fishing today consists of a very good supply of pike, grayling whitefish and rainbow trout.
Trout occurs in normal abundance.
In 2006, to increase accessibility even for wheelchair users, we have completed a fishing spot suitable for disabled people with wind protection on the south side of the canal (see map)

Each year, 1,500 trout and 1,500 graylings are planted. Approx. 1,000 of the trout are fed during the summer in a fish bag to later be released into the river over time.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
Only hand held equipment
Free rod fishing within the entire FVO for children under 15 years of age.
