A small, well-maintained P&T lake of just under 2 hectares in a marsh-like environment. Here you can fly fish for rainbow trout in peaceful surroundings.
There are fish traps all around the pond and fishing is safest from the designated spots. You can do just fine with boots if you stay on the traps. Wading is not possible as there are rock flies all around the pond.
Between fishing sessions you can either have a coffee on one of the sofas that are placed or in the shelter where there is also a fireplace, plenty of firewood, an axe and a grill.
Klanggölen normally opens around mid-May and remains open until the ice settles.
NOTE ! It is NOT permitted to stay overnight in a camper or caravan in the parking lot at Klanggölen.
Keep it clean and take your trash home.
There is no longer a trash can at the windbreak.
Tranås Sportfiskeförening was formed in 1953.
We are one of the associations around Lake Sommen that has an agreement with Sommen's Fisheries Conservation Area.
The association has about 250 members. Most members fish in Lake Sommen.
Within the association there is a section that conducts fly fishing.
The fly fishing section leases Klanggölen, where only fly fishing is allowed.
The sound, as everyone usually says, is for the members of the section and for those who bought fishing licenses.
Only rainbow is implanted. No other fish are found in the pond.
