Nordanås Fjällnäs SFF

The area is located on the Laisälven River, about 23 km north of Sorsele town.
It includes part of the Laisälven River, Lake Arresjaure and some smaller streams. The area around the Laisälven River is very interesting with large rapids and falls.

There are roads and marked trails to most of the lakes.
Nordanås-Fjällnäs SFF is best reached by taking road E45 from Sorsele towards Arvidsjaur. After about 13 km, at the village of Heden, you turn left towards Arjeplog and after 10 km you reach Nordanås, which is located in the middle of the area.

Fishing
The area offers good stream fishing for grayling and trout as well as whitefish in the Laisälven and a very interesting nature. Perch and pike are found in the lakes and ponds in the area. The fishing is best from the beginning of July to September.

Fish care
As fishing waters can be sensitive to high fishing pressure, it goes without saying that you should not “fish in cages”. Grayling is also a sensitive fish when it comes to storage and should therefore be cooked as soon as possible. Do not fish for growing small fish. It is not permitted to catch fish below the minimum size.
