Our game fishing licenses and rules

• Day pass: Valid for fishing from 00.00-23.59. Max 3 fish per pass may be caught . Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit. (on their quota) (In the rainbow stretch of Hedströmmen) MAX 1 fish (RB)
• Family card: Family card is valid for one day for 2 adults and 3 children up to and including the age of 15 years. Family members must live at the same address. Valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license. (on his quota) A total of max. 6 fish may be caught. (In Hedströmmen's rainbow stretch) MAX. 1 fish (RB)
• Weekend card : The weekend card is valid during the weekend, fishing can begin at: 4:00 PM on Friday and is valid all Saturday and Sunday until 11:59 PM. A total of max. 6 fish during the weekend . Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license. (on their quota) (In the rainbow stretch of Hedströmmen) MAX 1 fish (RB)

NOTE! Fishing licenses purchased for the Krampensjöarna noble fish waters are NOT valid in the Malingsbo Kloten waters.

To think about

Before you set out on your fishing trip, please note the following terms and conditions:

• The fishing license is personal and must bear your name and expiration date. Upon request, you must be able to show your fishing license and also be able to provide identification.
• The fishing license must always be carried when fishing.
• Fishing shall be terminated immediately after the permitted catch quota has been reached.
• You are responsible for checking what applies before you start fishing. The County Administrative Board can provide more information ( www.lst.se ).
• Changes or additions to rules and instructions may be made during the current season.
• Other fishing legislation applies in addition to these rules.
• If you violate the rules, your fishing rights will cease immediately.
• In the event of suspected poaching, please contact Sveaskog's customer center on tel. 0771-787 100.

Our valuable fishing waters

In our noble fishing waters in Malingsbo Kloten you can fish for planted trout and rainbow trout, but also for natural stocks of trout and char. A wide range of waters to suit everyone from lakes and ponds to flowing water. The different color markings on the map show our waters and where you can fish and what type of fishing license is required.  

RED WATERS – Put & take - Lilla Djurlången & Rågåstjärn (NOTE! The long lakes have been removed from "Ädelfiske Malingsbo - Kloten" and are now part of "Family Lakes Malingsbo" (Orange water)

• Spinning, angling and fly fishing are permitted.
  (Fishing with traditional silicone or PVC-based PowerBait, such as pellets, tails, balls or worms, is strictly prohibited in our waters.)
• Continuous stocking of salmonid fish occurs during the ice-free season
• Winter fishing only in our RED waters - Lilla Djurlången and Rågåstjärn
• It is NOT permitted to use ice fishing tents on the ice during winter fishing.
• When fishing with float rings in Lilla Djurlången, Ljustjärn and Skälsjöarna, it is only permitted to practice traditional fly fishing from float rings. Traditional fly fishing means (fly rod, fly line and down-covered hook).

ROSA WATER - Put & take - Mellantjärn, Perchjärn, Lövtjärn and Hedströmmens rainbow fishing (on the road Väg 233 - Nyhammar dam)

• Fly fishing only.
• Continuous stocking of salmonid fish occurs during the ice-free season .
• Catch and release on all trout
• Wading prohibited in all flowing waters.
• Fishing allowed all year round.
• Own boats, canoes, float rings or similar may not be used in our "PINK" freshwater fishing lakes and waterways.

LILA WATER - Catch & Release - Hedströmmen Trout Fishing ( Hedströmmen downstream of Nyhammar dam-Nedre Borgfors)

• Catch and Release on ALL trout
• Only fly fishing with barbed loose hook.
• Wading prohibited in all flowing waters.
• Fishing ban 1/10-31/12
• Support stocking of Hedström trout
• Own boats, canoes, float rings or similar may not be used in our "PURPLE" waters.

GREEN WATERS - Quota C&R fishing Västra Skälsjön and Östra Skälsjön Catch and release fishing for wild trout and char

• In Skälsjöarna, reservations are required and all fishing is conducted from float rings or from Sveaskog's rental boats (rowing boats). Two boats are available for rent in each lake.
• A total of 6 fishermen per day in each lake. 4 float fishermen and 2 fly fishermen from a boat. NOTE! Only 1 fisherman in each boat.
• Only traditional fly fishing with barbed loose hooks is allowed . Traditional fly fishing includes a fly rod with fly line and fly. Jigs, "propeller flies", plastic pellets, spinning flies, baited hooks or hooks with odorants are not allowed.
• Catch and release fishing applies
• Fishing from shore is prohibited.
• You book your boat/card or floating card at www.ifiske.se
• Bring your own life jacket and possibly an anchor. Connecting a battery/petrol-powered engine is prohibited on Sveaskog's boats.

Other rules for fishing

• Fishing is permitted with one rod per fishing license. Only one rod may be taken out to the water.
• A fly, lure or hook with bait may be attached to a rod.
• Live bait is not allowed in our game fishing waters.
• The rod must be held in hand or immediately accessible to the person fishing.
• Jerk fishing is prohibited. Hooks may be used to retrieve caught fish.
• Mashing is not allowed.
• Fishing with otters or nets is prohibited.
• Catching crayfish is prohibited.
• Violation of the rules means that fishing rights will cease immediately.
• Fires may only be lit in designated areas.
• Don't litter – take your trash home with you or use the trash cans at the parking lots.

Floating rules          

• In Malingsbo Kloten's noble fishing there is a total ban on all own vessels other than float rings and only in Lilla Djurlången, Ljustjärn and Skälsjöarna . The float ring must be of a traditional model and operated only with the feet.
• Oars, motors (electric/petrol), own boats, canoes, inflatable boats or SUP boards are not allowed.
• Land-based fishermen always have priority. Floating fishermen must show consideration and keep a reasonable distance.
• Only traditional fly fishing is allowed (fly rod, fly line and down-covered hook).    
• It is prohibited to drag line and bait behind you when moving (trolling).
• At the request of the supervisor, the fisherman must go ashore to check their card and equipment.

General terms and conditions  

• Crayfish are not allowed to be caught.
• Fires may only be lit in designated areas.
• Do not litter, take your trash home with you or use the trash cans located adjacent to the parking lots.
• Camping with a camper/caravan is only allowed for those who have purchased a fishing license.

NOTE! Fishing licenses purchased for fishing waters in Krampen are NOT valid in Malingsbo-Kloten fishing waters.

NOTE! Fishing licenses purchased for fishing in Malingsbo - Kloten's noble fishing waters are NOT valid for the noble fishing of Krampensjön!
