Fishing rules for Trollhättan's salmon fishing from Oskarsbron to Hängbron (Hojum and Oliden power stations)
If you cannot show your fishing license at the inspection, fishing must be stopped immediately at the request of the fishing warden. The fishing license is personal and cannot be transferred and/or resold.
The card gives permission to carry out sport fishing (this means that the catch MUST NOT be resold). When you buy the fishing license, you are obliged to take note of ALL applicable rules for fishing.
Fishing cards can be bought at www.iFiske.se or at Fiskeshopen (seasonal or daily card).

- Minimum age to fish is 16 years. (Applies both with and without a guardian.)
- A life jacket must be worn for all types of fishing.
- Wild salmon, with adipose fin, must be unconditionally reintroduced 1/9 - 14/10.

New fishing regulations regarding pike and pike from 2025

Pike-perch
Peacekeeping: During playtime, 25/4 - 31/5, Gös must be carefully reintroduced.
Other times the following applies:
Minimum dimensions: 45 cm
Maximum dimensions: 65 cm
Goose over 65cm must be carefully released back.
A maximum of 2 walleyes per day within 45-65 cm may be kept.

Pike
Maximum dimensions: 80 cm
Pike over 80 cm must be carefully released back.
A maximum of 2 pike per day, under 80 cm, may be kept.
