Fishing rules
Before you set out on your fishing trip, please note the following terms and conditions:

• Fishing license Natural water
• Annual pass (Valid all year, calendar year)
• Annual Family Card (Valid for the entire year, calendar year)
• 3 - Day pass (Valid from 00:00 (day 1) – 23:59 (day 3)
• Day pass (Valid from 00:00 – 23:59 on selected day)
• Group card school class - valid for a maximum of 30 students per class and day, valid only in natural waters.

To think about

• You are responsible for checking what applies before you start fishing. The County Administrative Board can provide more information ( www.lst.se ).
• Changes or additions to rules and instructions may be made during the current season.
• Other fishing legislation applies in addition to these rules.
• If you violate the rules, your fishing rights will cease immediately.
• In the event of suspected poaching, please contact Sveaskog's customer center on tel. 0771-787 100.

Other rules for fishing

• Fishing may be done with ONE rod, (one card = one fishing rod).
• A fly, a lure or a hook with bait may be attached to a rod; live bait is not permitted in our game fishing lakes.
• The rod used must be within reach or immediately accessible to the angler at all times.
• In natural waters you are allowed to use ten fishing rods per fishing license (pike fishing rods are not allowed).
• Jerk fishing is prohibited, but it is permitted to use a hook to retrieve caught fish.
• Mashing not allowed.
• Fishing with otters or nets is prohibited.
• Boats are allowed in all "Blue" natural waters, however, docking boats at our natural waters is not permitted.
• Fishing ban in the bay near the fish farm.

General terms and conditions

• Crayfish are not allowed to be caught.
• Fires may only be lit in designated areas.
• Don't litter, take your trash home with you.

Our Natural Waters

YELLOW water - Catch and release (Ö)

• Smaller ponds and flowing water where we focus on restoration.
• Catch & release.
• Only fly fishing with barbed loose hook.
• Wading prohibited in all flowing waters.
• In Håltjärnarna, fishing is permitted from 1/5 to 31/9.
• Fishing is prohibited in ALL flowing waters within Malingsbo-Kloten from October 1st to December 31st.

BLUE water (G & A)   

• Spinning, angling and fly fishing.
• Minimum size for pike is 45 cm and maximum size 75 cm: This withdrawal window applies in ALL waters, which means that only fish between 45-75 cm may be taken.
• A maximum of 3 fish (pike) per card and day may be kept.

NOTE! Fishing licenses purchased for fishing in our Natural Waters in Malingsbo - Kloten are NOT valid in Sveaskog's fine fishing waters in Malingsbo Kloten and in the Krampensjöarna, nor are they valid in Sveaskog's Family Lakes in Malingsbo.
