SEA FISHING
As of 2026-08-01, Annual Passes, Monthly Passes and Weekly Passes are INDIVIDUAL.
FAMILY CARD has been removed.
Within Sollefteå FVOF you have access to several lakes to fish in.
Many of the lakes are easily accessible directly from the road, but there are also those that require a walk of one or more kilometers for those who want to fish a little more "undisturbed". Fishing on our lakes can be done both summer and winter, and fish are released for each season at regular intervals.
Adults are allowed to catch 3 fish/day in total. If children under 16 participate, they are exempt and can keep 3.
fish/day.
When ice fishing, you are allowed to use two fishing rods on a trial basis for one year. If this is misused, it will be removed.
River fishing from land
The Ångermanälven River offers some truly great fishing, even in the lower reaches of the fishery management area. There is a chance of salmon, sea trout, grayling, perch, pike, etc.
If you are looking for grayling, we recommend that you go out to Hågestaön, turn left after the suspension bridge and stand on the tip of the island towards Sollefteå Camping.
There is both casting space for the fly rod and a chance to strike.
If you are looking for salmon or sea trout, we recommend the beach below the outlet of the park stream down towards the suspension bridge out to Hågestaön and the entire southern beach on Hågestaön.
River fishing from a boat
Grayling fishing can be fantastic if you take a boat to the various shallow areas downstream of the river. If you are lucky, you will come across the larger grayling that weigh over a kilo, while the usual size is between 2-5 kg. Fine food fish, then.
A tip! Grayling is a distinctly fresh fish that shouldn't sit too long between catching and cooking, so leave the catch bucket at home and only catch what you can eat when you get home.
Salmon fishing from a boat is probably not that well explored yet, but why not tow a blank line behind the boat and vary the speed, you never know what will happen...
Sea trout fishing, on the other hand, is a popular feature along the entire stretch of river in the fishery conservation area and is sometimes a real treat!
A lone boat fisherman is allowed to use 2 rods, 2 fishermen in a boat can use 2 rods each.
Max 4 rods/boat when fishing for salmon or sea trout.
Spring and autumn apply and the colder it is in the water, the deeper you should fish.
Baits such as wobblers and tube flies usually yield catches.
Here you will find world-class salmon fishing in the middle of town.
Grayling, salmon and sea trout fishing along the Ångerman river. Summer and winter fishing for rainbow trout, char and trout in several lakes. Pike and zander fishing in lakes with access to a boat ramp.
