Summeln
Lake Summeln is approximately 500 hectares in size and is located in the western part of Kila parish within Säffle municipality.
The lake is nutritious and has a rich fish population. There are plenty of pike, perch and whitefish. The availability of pike-perch is moderate.
Spread of diseases
To minimize the risk of spreading fish and crayfish diseases, only bait fish from the water in which the fishing is conducted should be used. Gear, boats, etc. should be cleaned when moved between different lakes and waterways.

Summeln's Fisheries Management Area Association was formed in 1984.
The purpose of the association is to coordinate the conduct of fishing and fisheries management, as well as to grant fishing rights to the public. Crayfish fishing is not part of the association's area of responsibility.
Spread of diseases
In order to minimize the risk of the spread of fish and cancer diseases, only bait fish from the water in which the fishing is conducted must be used. Equipment, boats etc. should be cleaned when they are moved between different lakes and waterways.
