Björkfors fishing area in Hemavan offers plenty of flowing water and the proximity to the village Hemavan makes the area very suitable for families who want easily accessible fishing. Here are rapids, streams, avor and ground.

The fishing waters stretch from Portbron in the south upstream of the Ume River to Syterforsen in the north and from Ahasjön to Maisorn in the west and Gainan's outlet in the south. On both sides of the Ume River there is a path / road that is partly accessible.

Current fishing from Maisorn outlet and down to Ahasjön, and from the outlet of Syterforsen and up.

Summer fishing:
This is summer fishing water that is suitable for both spin and fly fishing.

Winter fishing:
Winter fishing is best done on Maisorn.

Accessibility adapted for the disabled if you choose to fish from the snowmobile bridge at Krokiavan.
