Haverö FVO consists of an undeveloped part of Ljungan, 2 large lakes. Many ponds and stream systems. Forest landscape, very hilly with, among others, Medelpad's highest mountain. Large game population of moose, bear, wolf, wolverine and lynx. Bicycle & canoe trails available.
Fishing tips
Good grayling fishing in Haverö keel herring and Vassnäs streams from the end of May until midsummer. There is also a chance of large trout in these streams even though they are not so numerous. Trolling during the spring/early summer in the larger lakes can also give a chance for large trout. Allowed with fly fishing from floating rings in Långtjärn where you can have good fishing at the rockling hatching for trout and char. Accessibility-adapted fishing spot/jetty at Mosjön. Good fishing for large pike especially in late autumn in the lakes in Ljungan. Maximum of 3 fish per day and fisherman applies in Långtjärn!
