Kiasjöns m.fl sjöars FVOF

Fishing waters belonging to Kiasjön and other lakes FVO
Feresjön, Kiasjön, Björkshultsjön, the lakes in Pikaböl and the Badebodaån between Kiasjön and Björkshultsjön.

Kiasjön has an area of 220 ha and is located above the highest coastline at an altitude of 169 m. The lake has a maximum depth of 18 m, an average depth of 5.4 m and is classified as nutrient-poor (oligotrophic).
During test fishing in 2008 in Kiasjön, 9 species of fish were caught: perch, pike-perch, pike, tench, bream, roach, zander and roach. Eels and roach are also found in the lake.
Pike perch is a clear favorite among anglers.

Lake Feresjön has an area of 45 ha and is located above the highest coastline at an altitude of 175 m above sea level in Högsby and Uppvidinge municipality.
The lake has a maximum depth of 14 m and an average depth of 3.7 m.
Feresjön is a forest lake dominated by perch, but there are also roach, bream, pike, tench, rudd and rudd.

Lake Björkhultssjön is an extension of the Badebodaån in Björkshult.
The lake has a very rapid water turnover.

Hemsjön is a typical humus forest lake, about 6 ha in size, located in hilly terrain. When the water level is high, the lake is connected to the southern part of the lake; Uppsjön . The most common fish are pike and perch.
