Ränkens FVOF

The Ränken fishing area includes Lake Ränken and a number of smaller lakes and ponds. Ränken is a species-rich lake where perch and pike dominate, and there are opportunities to catch both large pike and perch.
Other species found are eel, roach, bream, roach, rudd, smelt and brill.
There is also a small population of trout. Attempts have also been made to restock the lake with char.

Ränken is also an excellent winter fishing water, although the lake can sometimes be difficult to fish.
The same fishing license applies to fishing with hand gear in Ränken and in other waters in the area, except in Abborrtjärnet where a special fishing license must be purchased. However, fishing is prohibited in flowing waters.
In Ränken it is also possible to buy fishing licenses for trolling fishing.

In Abborrtjärn, stocking will not take place until the autumn.
