  "Water temperature just over 14 plus degrees on the cutting occasions. Cutting period approx. 18-19 cloudy light rain very windy cutting period. Most of the cuts came when it was windy and cloudy. Fairly slow when casting in a fan shape in the bay, but the perches hit close to the structure, i.e. jetty, due to the strong gusty wind during the evening. Longest perch for the evening 22 cm. The perches were standing and pressing on the bottom. Occasional wakes after the gusty wind had subsided."
