  "Water temperature 12 plus degrees at the time of cutting approx. 17.40. The small pike of 52 cm caught just after the heavy rain showers had subsided. A little way out from the reed ridge, the pike caught and attacked the spoon move just as it hit the surface. Put on the spoon pull Hansen Pilgrim colorful one. Overcast and weak southerly wind during the cutting period. Other occasional vigils during the afternoon/early evening."
