The fishing water includes the part of the Klarälven River that lies within the Sysslebäck fishery conservation area.
The stretch is about 25km long and runs from Kärrback-strandsbron in the north to Ransby-bron in the south. The stretch down to Vingängsjön has only a few locks, which gives it a rocky bottom. The rest of the river section has a sandy bottom. At Brattmon the river is strongly rapid for about 2 km. Here the bottom is coarsely rocky, but otherwise there are about fist-sized rocks. The river width varies with an average width of 80-100 meters.
In the stream areas, the fish stocks consist of grayling and trout and occasional salmon, in Vingängsjön pike, perch and roach. There are also some whitefish in the river. Klarälven, and not least the Sysslebäckspartiet, are among the very best grayling waters in central Sweden.
Our organization consists of a board of five members and two deputies.
FVOF plans various biotope measures as well as cultivation and stocking of fish from the stationary trout and grayling stocks in the river. Because floating has now also ceased in the river, the conditions for sport fishing have further improved.
