Nimmerns FVOF

Nimmern's FVOF has worked hard in recent years to raise the water quality in Nimmern, a project that was done in collaboration with the County Administrative Board, Kinda Municipality and Stångåns Water Board.

Ongoing water testing and reduction fishing. Investigations of water chemistry, phytoplankton and benthic fauna. Measurements have been made of the content of phosphorus, nitrogen and oxygen and also of the depth of view. Extensive test fishing has also been carried out to follow up the results of the reduction fishing and to check the condition and development of the fish stock in the lake. The goal is to have improved the ecological status of the lake to not be red-listed and to achieve the national goals of having a good ecological status by 2027.
