To get to Brunnsjön you have to walk or otherwise transport yourself, because a road barrier is placed 2 km before Brunnsjön.

Catch-and-release on bream and roach in Brunnsjön

Brunnsjön is a 10-hectare lake approximately 1.7 miles from Umeå.
The water is humus colored and the beaches mostly consist of marshland.
The road follows almost the entire northern long side, which consists mostly of firm and fine ground.
Spångar can be found on the steepest areas on both the eastern and western short sides.
The lake has a maximum depth of 3.8 meters. The deepest area of the lake follows the side of the road from the barbecue hut up to the headland by the timber barn.
