Bräcke is a municipality with exciting contrasts in the landscape. High mountains and beautiful valleys, fish-rich lakes and primeval forests. Bräcke municipality's many lakes and ponds together with the 80 km long Gimån form a fantastic base for sport fishing. In lakes and forest stars, trout, char, grayling, whitefish, perch, id and pike await. Fly fishermen from all over Europe make a pilgrimage here to try fishing in Gimån, one of Jämtland's best trout waters. Fishing from a boat in lakes and other calmer waters also works well. Revsundssjön offers varied fishing and nice beach breaks and is one of the few Swedish lakes with its own nautical chart.
