Availability:
Parts of the lake are difficult to access due to reed belts, but land fishing opportunities are available in several places, for example at headlands.
Public transport:
Metro to Gullmarsplan, from there take a bus towards Älta, get off at the Ältasjön bus stop. Alternatively, take the metro to Slussen and then a bus to Älta city centre.
Fishing tips:
Lake Ältasjön is primarily a good ice fishing lake for perch and the ice fishing for pike can be good. There is also a chance of catching pike perch.
