There are several places to get down to the water from. A beach at Ågestagården where parking is also possible.
Public transport:
Subway or commuter train to Farsta or to Farsta beach.
Fishing tips:
Magelungen is a large lake where the character of the lake changes in appearance from open deep water masses in the southern parts of the lake to vegetation-rich and shallow areas in the northwestern part of the lake. The deeper parts offer the best fishing for perch, pike and zander.
The shallow and vegetated parts of the lake offer very good sport fishing for roach and tench, but also with a chance of carp.
Other:
Rice pots are built in the lake, two of them north of Ågestabron. Another one in the northernmost part of the lake.
Boats with motors, max. 5 hp, may be driven in the lake.
