Description:
Lanarestjärt is a small forest lake with a lot of vegetation. Depending on variations in the perch population, some years there may be few larger or many small perch in the lake. The variations occur in cycles every couple of years and Lanarestjärt is a good lake to start the ice fishing season on. In Lanarestjärt, carp were stocked in the 1990s where some carp showed record-breaking growth, for example one individual grew from under a kilo to 3.6kg in 18 months. In modern times, no one, or very few, have given the lake's carp fishing a fair chance. Is this where the next carp record can come from?
