The Roslagsleden trail also goes from Hagby, northeast of the lake. Then take a bus towards Täby Kyrkby and get off at Vallabrink.

If any roach survives the fish kill, there is a chance it could grow really big.

Käringsjön is a nutrient-poor forest lake located in a beautiful forest area. The lake is part of a Natura 2000 area.
