Availability:
There are some good fishing spots around the lake. Very large reed belts have spread out around the shores.
Public transport:
The metro's green line gets off at Råcksta.
Fishing tips:
Råcksta swamp has no trophy fish species but mainly offers good quantity fishing for smaller tench and rudd with a chance of medium-sized carp.
Other:
The lake is part of the Grimsta nature reserve. The lake is also important for amphibians and dragonflies. The birdlife is relatively poor.
