The municipality's 13 fishing areas offer varied and exciting fishing for large perch, pike and zander. These fish species can be caught in a number of ways - try jerk fishing or spinning flies for pike, for example. Or why not use a regular fly on a quiet evening in a mirror-like bay. Try a surface-going popper, which will make pike and perch hunt on the surface and create waves after your bait - a method that is guaranteed to make your heart beat a few extra beats! Vertical jig fishing for zander has become popular in recent years and is a method that is as exciting as it is effective. In addition, there are many waters within the municipality with species that are sure to appeal to anglers, such as bream, tench, roach, rudd and rudd. Put-n-take fishing for trout and rainbow trout can be tried in the waters of Rörvik Fishing Club.

The municipality also sells a joint weekly permit for all fishery management areas in the municipality. It fits the tourist like a glove, as for a relatively cheap fee (300 SEK), without the hassle of different fishing permits, you get the chance to try fishing in all of the municipality's licensed lakes and waterways (except Rörvik's sport fishing club).

Eels are found in some of the municipality's lakes. Eel fishing is permitted more than three definitive migration barriers from the sea, but the minimum measurement is 70 centimeters in all waters.
